History was made at Historic Crew Stadium. On April 17, 2026, the Columbus Aviators earned their first franchise win — a 28-14 upset over the 3-0 Dallas Renegades — and running back Toa Taua delivered the knockout blow. With 6:33 left in the fourth quarter, Taua punched it in on a two-yard touchdown run, capping an 18-play, 97-yard drive that lasted nearly ten minutes and put the game out of reach for good. It was the first time all season the Aviators held a two-possession lead — and it held.
